DE SANGOSSE ENTERS IBF SHARE CAPITAL & BPHR RENEWS ITS CONFIDENCE

ImmunRise Biocontrol raises €5m to finalise the development of the first antifungal microalgae capable of protecting agricultural crops and replacing synthetic pesticides.
The company now has the DE SANGOS group as a shareholder. DE SANGOS is a leader in biocontrol solutions based in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region. This adds to the existing investment of Baron Philippe de Rothschild group (BPhR), a key player in French winegrowing,
"This fund-raising will enable us to take the final steps towards bringing our product to market in 2026, which is a prerequisite for the roll-out of our business in Europe", says Laurent de Crasto, CEO of Immunrise Biocontrol.
“ImmunRise Biocontrol develops biocontrol solutions based on marine active agents derived from its own research, demonstrating efficacy on a unique spectrum of pathosystems.
This innovative approach is complementary to DE SANGOSSE's work in the transformation of pharmacopoeia which accompanies the agro-ecological transition. This encourages us today to support their development and their arrival on the market.”
says Nicolas Fillon, Managing Director of DE SANGOSSE.
“For the past three years, our scientific and technical teams at the BPhR Group have observed that the ImmunRise Biocontrol solution provides effective solutions to the problems facing the wine industry.”
says Philippe Sereys de Rothschild, Chairman and CEO of BPhR
