CarbonWorks (spinoff Fermentalg & SUEZ)

CarbonWorks is an industrial biotechnology company specialising in the autotrophic production of microalgae and useful molecules derived from them.

Building on its experience with the PSPC Region 2 - VALBIOVI project since September 2021, CarbonWorks has confirmed its ability to produce the ICC001 microalgae to Immunrise's specifications and requirements in a photobioreactor entirely designed and manufactured in France.
The CarbonWorks technology is mainly based on the decarbonisation of emitting sites. The CO2 emitted is captured and reused in photosynthesis to produce microalgae.

As development of the CarbonWorks technology is still in progress, Immunrise is awaiting the roll-out of a CarbonWorks industrial park in a few years' time which will enable it to rely on on local raw material production in France
