A major breakthrough for sustainable viticulture!
After 2 years of open-field trials at Château Lambert in Saint-Aignan, Immunrise Biocontrol unveiled the first results of its 100% natural and residue-free fungicide designed to combat downy mildew.
🔬 The results?
Effectiveness equal to—or even greater than—conventional treatments 💪
➡️ An innovative solution based on marine microalgae, residue-free, non-toxic, and fully aligned with the principles of One Health and agroecological transition.
Next step: Preparing for market launch. Let’s go!
We warmly thank all our partners, institutions, and experts who are supporting this French innovation for a healthier, safer, and more sustainable viticulture.
2025 Field Trial – Château Lambert (Saint-Aignan)
Evaluation of the effectiveness of a 100% natural fungicide developed by Immunrise Biocontrol (IBF) against grapevine downy mildew, under disease conditions of 92% frequency and 27% intensity.
Key Results:
Treatment Effectiveness:
IBF (Natural treatment):
• 98% (grape clusters)
• 97% (leaves)
Conventional ZRP treatment:*
• 100% (grape clusters)
• 86% (leaves)
Treatment Frequency Index (TFI) Reduction:
TFI reduction: 83%
(Calculation: Number of IBF treatments / Total number of treatments × 100)
Estimated Yield:
• IBF treatment: 46.4 hL/ha
• Conventional ZRP treatment: 39.5 hL/ha
Conclusion:
Immunrise Biocontrol treatments demonstrate:
✔️ Effectiveness comparable to or greater than conventional ZRP, especially on foliage
✔️ Significantly reduced number of treatments required
✔️ Higher yield, with a natural and non-toxic approach
🧬 Next Step:
Immunrise Biocontrol is now preparing for the market launch of this marine microalgae-based natural solution.
